Founded in 1975, the Washington Volvo Club is the continuation of a club begun in 1958 for the care and feeding of Volvos of all years and styles. In 1978, the WVC was chosen to participate in a print and TV advertisement for Volvo Cars (the photo from that advert is on this page).
